'I have always been interested in writing poems even as a child. I found at an early age that my observation and listening skills were very important in collecting and remembering information about family, friends and close encounter. I was very fortunate to have been raised in a family that both parents were Ministers of the Gospel.  I have to give all of the credit for my writing skills to God and my mother.  She said I must write with passion and clarity if I was going to be successful in the literary world.  In writing these books, I hope I have in some small way done my mother justice. I have attempted to convey a reality and truth with a high degree of clarity that can be understood and enjoyed by all.
