I like telling my story thru poetry. This is a poem from my book titled Poetic Reflections.

(False Reflections)

How perfect we are

from a mirror’s reflection,

reflects exactly what stands before it.

So perfectly content we are

with the image in the mirror,

we have come to adore it.

Emerged in our own vanity,

rapped in decorative clothing,

and other worldly accessories,

engaged in the destructive

activities of the now generation,

speaking the language of our circle of friends.

Remember, the reality of the mirror is only

as real as the reflection.

Remove the mirror, and there are no reflection,

remove the decorative clothings and

worldly accessories, forget the language

of your circle of friends. Now you stand

naked before the internal mirror of reflectons

that reflects the soul of human kind.

It is the reflection of this mirror that

portrays all that is real. You will discover

that it is not so easy to stand before this mirror.

For vanity plays no part in it’s judgement.
